Boxes on Arrival (December 12, 2005)

Ahh, these boxes finally arriving was a happy moment for me. They certainly were beat up! I wish I could find the "before" picture that I know I took before heading overseas.

Within a few days, I went and made my first homecooked meal in Switzerland. (It would have been immediate, but I had to find a store that was open and get some ingredients, first!) The food itself was kinda crummy, but that simple meal made this apartment start feeling like a home.
