Coyote Blog on digital copyright (January 28, 2007)

Coyote Blog includes a post today about digital copyright. Computer scientists continue to decline to propose any meaningful reform of digital copyright. As a result, the extension of obsolete copyright law plays on out, an the general public is noticing more as time goes on. We see our computing and playback systems--a distinction increasingly blurred--fall under limitation just because it might be used to violate copyright. We have an increasingly difficult time using content that we have paid for.
